We did make an offer to realtor to pay 2% finders fee. They reluctanly said "NO" as the realtors here up north are a full service realty company and would do it for 7%, so we said no way. They wouldn''t even put it in the MLS listing for us for a fee.

I found this site propertywithaview.com very user friendly. All the other sites that I looked at were very confusing. When I signed up for my free listing, step by step instructions were emailed to me. I followed the instructions and had my home listed and showing on the website in just a few minutes.

Also zillow.com says that when you show your home to prospective buyers you need to "keep your eyes open and your mouth shut". Let me ask you this: If I keep my mouth shut, how in this world will I tell buyers what is so GOOD about my house??

It took 8 monthes for my neighbour to sell his home and he used real estate agent. Other owner next street sold similar home without any real estate agent for only 3 monthes. I do not see why do I need to hire realtors to sell my home, thanks for your services!
